Wilkes-Barres Fine arts Fiesta Was a blast!

Roxanne here, it’s my birthday, so we headed out, Phone in hand, to this wonderful delight of our city! Ducky and I are the only members there, as you may well know if you frequent the YouTube channel

There are many of us, not just in the US but across the world Best example is our resident Tourist from Germany Torben I apologize for the fact that I have only been active on Bluesky for a while, as my health took a dip, but I’m back and taking on the challenges again. So let’s get into the meat and Potatoes of this event.

Music, Performances, art galleries, Wine tastings, and the Sale of many products. There was just so much to see hard to stay focused on one space for long. Had to take several loops to really absorb the beauty, while many things caught my eye, in the end, it was a leather-bound Journal by Steve Malone from Syracuse, New York, that was something we could actually afford and will be a prop in so many future Tiktoks of ours to come.

               The Most Saddening part about this is seeing them trying to get out the message as to why they are even needed in this country in the first place. It’s all fun and games on Sesame Street until it isn’t. Cutting funding to something as vital as breathing is a disgrace.  This programming has taught our kids. It taught us for many generations.  We can never turn our backs on the programs that made us who we are.  

       As a millennial, I grew up with these characters. They gave me peace of mind in a world that sometimes isn’t the best place. Heck, Elmo even bothered to ask if we were all good, and I do believe we made him go get a therapist after. That’s the difference, though, isn’t it? They ask us what we need. They don’t just do something and hope the American people are on board with it, cause we ain’t. 

    It’s time for all of us Neighbors to fight back, not with weaponry. We aren’t that kind of Rebellion, and I hate that I have to keep saying that. We fight with our voices and our votes. Call those who are supposed to represent you. Share this blog with as many as you can to help spread the word!  Join our Discord to know when meetups are happening!

    If NPR is defunded, I mean truly left to be dismantled, then who truly fights back? A handful of voices? Our voices are the ones they hear! Our Voices are the ones they keep projecting. Our needs our wants, the lowest of the low of us, are shielded by them from this madness.  If that all goes away, so do our voices. Without groups like NPR calling out the corruption, we won’t even have elections soon.

   They want to silence the truth and facts by calling it “Fake news,” But who are we to take that when every promise he’s made to those who voted for him, Everything he’s said about everyone else is him and his people projecting what they are.  From calling people criminals to saying that others are hurting children.  The Felon has no right to destroy the right to due process. The Felon has no right to have his enemies arrested and deported. 

       Now, as they go after “Birthright Citizenship,” Doesn’t that raise all the red flags? Even though so far it’s not happening, doesn’t that and his “Homegrowns are next” comment tell you that this man is trying to get rid of his enemies easier as well as get rid of those he finds are “poisoning the blood of our country” Project 2025 is a White Christian Nationalists Pipe dream but what do I know I’m just a simple girl with a simple Blog whose well informed. I’m no professional journalist by any means, but this typewriter keyboard I’m using certainly makes me a force of nature that will not remain silent as our country is torn apart.

      Let the media fight not for us but with us. As we all raise our banners and march forward peacefully remember this could all end if we do not all fight back. We the people fails when we fight each other rather than a wannabe Dictator with the mind of a toddler. Cause remember he passed those cognitive tests so you don’t have to know what they are, what a sacrifice. 

      From rigging the Stock Market to deporting actual citizens, Darth Dividuus will continue to be a bigger Menace of an Adolf Clone until the Return of the outcry, of us actually fighting this fight, don’t sit home. Do not think just because some of us are bitching  that everything will be alright.

So many of y’all stayed home, and we lost the election. 

     Now please call your reps and Save America, cause if we actually want to be Great again and not the laughingstock of the world, we need to block this agenda!
